Named for the horizontal slats that climb the back rest, this is a country classic that has never really gone out of style. The tall back gives it presence without making it feel heavy in a small room.

Each slat is steam bent to follow the curve of the back, so it is a good deal more comfortable than it looks. Finished in a natural oiled timber that mellows nicely with age.
